Official Music Video Decision

The bases of our initial first music video decision was that we use a band called ‘The Naked Recreation’. There were 4 of them which made rock pop music and were a local band that I knew from the past. We had built a concept and rent out a location for them that we would use to film to therefore edit into the music video that built into the vibe that they and we were happy to create.
But after contacting one of the band members, it was clear that we could not use them as they had a few problems to sort out. So after all the work and 2 weeks’ worth of preparation we had for them to show the plans we had to the 2 day shoot, we had to scrap.

As this happened, we had to start from square one which was very frustrating and annoying after the 2 weeks planning. We had to start again by finding another artist or using a song from a popular singer/band such as Taylor Swift or The Script and making sure we have permission to create a music video out of this. Within the first week of our second music video planning, we had found another artist that we knew called ‘Gianluca Volpe’, he was a singer, played the guitar and had 3 original songs that we absolutely loved. Not only, did we know him but he agreed to meet us to show him all of our plans (storyboards, shot lists and conceptualisation).

This was perfect for us as we could agree on a sensible concept between us (the creators of music video) and then see if he liked it so we were on a general agreement between us all.
This allowed us to do what we wanted and therefore carry on the process with our OFFICIAL MUSIC AND VIDEO DECISION! (We were VERY excited)
